1 – LUMIAR

Lumiar is about 160 Km away from Rio de Janeiro. It is located in the municipality of Nova Friburgo. The biggest highlight of the place goes to the waterfalls! With the Indiana Jones waterfall being the most famous of the place.

2 – MAROMBA

Maromba is located in Itatiaia National Park, one of the highest and coldest areas in the state. Its most prominent is its waterfalls, such as the Escorrega Waterfall, in addition to the 7-meter Potion.

The campsite offers a rustic and comfortable environment that blends perfectly with the cold of the mountains. This is a great place for those looking for romantic or family-friendly days.

3 – MARTIM DE SÁ

An almost deserted beach!
The location in Paraty, reminiscent of Praia do Sono in terms of visuals, but the big difference is that Martim de Sá is more untouched, with few restaurants and no electricity.
Certainly one of the wildest places to camp in Rio de Janeiro!
4 – AVENTUREIRO

Located on Ilha Grande, it is considered the best beach there by most visitors.
This is where Coqueiro Laying is located, one of the postcards of the island. It also has a small natural pool and two lookouts (Espia and Sundara).

5 – PRAIA DO SONO

Sleep Beach is located within the Cairuçú Environmental Protection Area, which is approximately 25 km from Paraty.
To reach the place, it is necessary to walk along a trail of about 50 minutes from Vila do Oratório. The place has some restaurants and residents making change selling snacks =]
Exploring the site a bit, you will find waterfalls, natural pools and even other wilder beaches.
6 – VILA VELHA
Aldeia Velha is located in Serra do Mar, in the municipality of Silva Jardim. There is an environmental protection area there called São João or Mico Leão Dourado. You will find rivers, waterfalls, all in the midst of lush Atlantic Forest. It is not far from the mountains of Macaé, where is the Sana.
7 – SANA
Sana is a quiet and rustic village in the mountains of Macaé. There you will find a multitude of waterfalls and very charming inns.
The Roncadeira and the Escorreca waterfall are the most famous waterfalls. In addition to these attractions, there is also the Pigeon Breast, which is a 1200 meter peak. The view from there is stunning!
