CBF Museum: a journey through the history of the Brazilian soccer team.
In this article we will tell you why the CPF Museum is worth visiting.
Twenty years after football arrived in Brazil in 1894, the national team won the Roca Cup. From then on, we obtained countless achievements and became the country with the most feared and respected national team in history.
On August 1, the CBF Museum was inaugurated. Bring photos, images, trophies and an interactive experience, backed by technology. An immersion in the culture and history of Brazilian football. Located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, the museum has increasingly enchanted the public that loves this beautiful sport. There you will find the account of important games and titles that Brazil won on this long journey.
With 19 installations, the collection has old uniforms and more. One of the highlights of the exhibition are the crown cups 58, 62, 70, 94 and 2002. In these spaces you will relive the emotion of each achievement, with photographs and the feeling of each of the victories.
The CBF museum trophy collection
The exhibition presents a large collection of trophies, almost 200.5 worldwide, 4 Confederations Cups and 72 other international titles.
There is an attraction called immersive CBF. In addition to the tests and other games, the visitor can wear 3D glasses and, through virtual reality, he will feel like a participant of the Brazilian team. In this way, you will participate in unique moments, such as singing the anthem, participating in the changing rooms and giving an interview to journalists.
Through a technology called kinect, it is possible, in the “Trophy Cloud” attraction, to receive information such as data, images and graphics about each trophy exposed. All through the command of your hands.
Another attraction is the one that gathers stories of historical games. There are radio stories, crowds and declarations, for example.
There are sixteen interactive tables that provide visitors with varied information, such as photos, videos, games, etc.
Elsewhere in the exhibition, balls were collected that were used by the population in the 27 states of the federation. An image of unity of the Brazilian people through their greatest passion.
There is a part of the exhibition that aims to illustrate the beginnings of the selection until the first conquest of a world championship in 1958. All always accompanied by images, relics and trophies. Another space shows the evolution of the Canarian uniform since 1914.
You will also find a photography space, where you can take pictures within historical scenes of the Brazilian team (it is a paid service).
