What you can not forget when traveling. A checklist to help you!

Once you’ve chosen your destination, found your flights, and booked your hotels, there’s only one obstacle between you and your long-awaited trip: packing your bags! There are people who take the lyrics and even like this moment, but other people hate it so much that they wind up to the last minute, they run and always forget something.

So the first and most important tip is: Make a list. Think about the places you will visit, and include essential items for each destination. Also, try to start packing 2 or 3 days in advance – so you can check and recheck the list as you calmly organize your belongings. Here are some tips for not forgetting anything important:

PLUG ADAPTER

Very important if you go to another country with different standard from Brazil. Have a universal adapter and always carry with you!

PORTABLE BATTERY

No running out of battery on your phone or camera in the middle of the day!

EXTRA MEMORY CARD

Make sure you have enough space for all your photos and videos.

MATCHES

For flu, headache, body pain, cramps, nausea, stomach ache… it’s always good to have some in your bag.

FIRST AID

Band aid and other basic items in case of an emergency.

WOMEN’S INTIMATE ITEMS

If you are a woman, avoid surprises and always have a tampon with you.

COLD JACKETS AND ACCESSORIES

If you are going to a cold destination, be sure to bring appropriate coats to the temperature. If it’s a REALLY cold place, you’ll get a lot more out of wearing scarves, gloves, earmuffs, and good socks. They seem superfluous to those not used to very cold weather, but you will see that they will greatly enhance your experience!

A GOOD BOOK

To save your airport waiting hours and / or those moments of anxiety and insomnia during flights. Or even to sit on a beach or lawn and relax.

DOCUMENTS

Aren’t there people who forget? Check often if you have all the documents you need.

NOTEBOOK WITH INFORMATION

If something happens to your phone, gets robbed or just runs out of battery, contacting someone or finding your way around the hotel can be a big problem. Keep with you a notebook with contact and emergency information, address of all the places you will be staying, address of the Brazilian consulates if you are in another country and other information you deem necessary.

Lenses or extra glasses

If you have 10 degrees of myopia and any unforeseen happen, not having a spare glasses can ruin the rest of the trip, especially if you are traveling alone.

SOLAR PROTECTIVE AND REPELLENT

Very important if you are going to very hot, tropical and forest destinations.
