Our transfer tips from Rio de Janeiro

—
When we arrive at an airport, we don’t know what we usually have to do is?
A bathroom … but the second is to discover how to get to our destination and there are many users who charge higher prices than normal.
If you arrive at Galeao airport (GIG)
BE CAREFUL with taxi drivers! They will try to charge you more than you should!
The three ways I indicated to move from the airport are the following:
1) UBER
R$ 40 – R$ 50 up to 4 people
The airport has 30 minutes of free internet, that’s more than enough to call a super.
If the wireless connection is too slow, you can go to Starbucks on the middle floor between the first and second floors … buy a coffee and use Wi-Fi.
Ubers can only enter the airport from the third floor in the Departures area.
When they arrive, they will depart at arrivals, on the first floor, and must go up to the third floor, where the shipment is, and enter gate A (between gate B and gate B is a stopping point for boarding). When you only have to use Wi-Fi and call Uber, if there are 4 people with 4 large suitcases, you can run out of space with UberX
Catching a super is our biggest advice from Rio de Janeiro.
Galeão to Santos Dumont
If you want to know how to get from Galeão airport to Santos Dumont, check out this post here.
2) BUS line

2018, from the airport (R$ 17 x person): the cheapest.
There is a bus that passes through Flamengo, Botafogo, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and Barra da Tijuca.
But for the price if it is for two or more people, an Uber is much more comfortable and especially faster, since the bus takes a later route to pass the entire route it promises.
This bus costs R $ 17 reais per person, line number 2018

3) Commercial fixed price taxis

—
(R$ 90)
If for any problem you do not get internet from the airport, there are 2 companies called Aerocoop and Aerotaxi, which work with a fixed prepaid price, not the best price, but in this way it ensures that the taxi driver does not travel as the time to charge. more as long as the price is fixed.
