The lovely Vista Chinesa, Rio de Janeiro.
Today I will tell you about one of the most impressive points in Rio de Janeiro, the Vista China.

The famous Vista is located within the Tijuca National Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world that is basically in the heart of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Monkey in China Vista Rio de Janeiro
Imagine finding a little monkey in Rio de Janeiro!
??????
It is very common to find here, especially in the forest of Tijuca. They pose for a photo, sing and play games!??

The Chinese view is one of the main postcards of the city of Rio and has been used as the setting for several electronic novels. From there you can see several other special points of Rio, such as Corcovado con Cristo Redentor, Pan de Azúcar, Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Leblon Ipanema Beach, even the city of Niterói and much more. All this wrapped around a beautiful forest.
Chinese sight tour of Rio de Janeiro
In case you want to take a tour that in addition to passing through the Chinese view takes you to the Botanical Garden, Lage Park and other places in the Tijuca forest, click here.

There are three ways to access the Chinese view, either by bicycle or on foot or by car, being private or an Uber. It is a 20-minute drive on a road that can be considered steep. If you decide to go on foot or by bicycle, study the route before, as this will require a lot of physical effort, even if you walk slowly. And there is something else, the road is not very wide and the flow of cars is constant. When in doubt you drive, it is safer and more pleasant. There are other better places in the city of Rio de Janeiro to walk or pedal.

What about near Chinese view?
The Chinese view is very close to the Botanical Garden, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon (To know what to do in Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, click here) and the Horto Waterfall, in addition to the famous Lage Park (More about the park here). The forest is divided into three sectors, the Chinese view is in the Serra da Carioca sector.
The structure of the Chinese view of Rio de Janeiro
The structure is a tribute to the Chinese and was built in 1903 when the city was very different from today, with much less road buildings.

Be sure to go on a clear day with good visibility and few clouds because the view is unforgettable and a closed time does not contribute to the appreciation of the city. Preferably at dawn because it facilitates the visualization of birds, which are abundant in the Tijuca forest and make a displacement in these two periods of the day. Do not forget the binoculars.

A little further up following the path of Horto also Another interesting tourist point that is the Emperor’s table. Here was a place where nobility and royalty met sporadically. It is worth checking since it is close.
