Morro da Urca in Rio de Janeiro
Today I will tell you about Morro da Urca in the south of Rio de Janeiro.
Morro da Urca has one of the most beautiful looks in the city of Rio de Janeiro. from there you can see Botafogo Cove, the airport of downtown Flamengo Beach, Corcovado, A Pedra da Gávea, Guanabara Bay and the city of Niterói. It is one of my most beautiful and complete eyes in the city.

There are two ways to reach the top of Morro da Urca: one is via the Sugar Loaf cable car and the other is by path. Morro da Urca is the hill just below the Pan de Azúcar mountain. Many people confuse thinking that sugar bread is the two hills, but the first is the Morro da Urca and the second is called Sugar Loaf. Both have similar views, being Sugar Loaf Mountain higher.
If you just want to enjoy the look without getting too tired, simply take the cable car on the red beach in Urca. But if you want a little more adventure, you can follow the path. To access the trail just go to the left corner looking at Praia Vermelha beach and access the Cláudio Coutinho track that costs the sea following the feet of Morro da Urca and Pan de Azúcar. In 5-10 minutes on foot you will find the entrance to the trail.
It is very easy to see that there are signs that are very easy to find. It is not even a hidden path, it is very wide and well signposted. The road there is quite wide, so it is almost impossible to get lost. It is not so steep and walking at a good pace is reached in about 20 minutes. easy
Upstairs you will find a souvenir shop, restaurants and bars. It is worth going up and spending an afternoon, enjoying even the wonderful sunset from there.
