Train of the Corcovado
Perhaps the most popular way to get to the Christ, the Corcovado train carries about 3750 visitors daily to climb the hill. The trips have a fixed schedule, and the tickets are sold online, the post offices and the Cosme Velho ticket office are located next to the departure point of the trains.

- Buying the ticket in advance, it is not necessary to make rows.

How to get
Metro:
Taking the Cosme Velho integration bus at the Largo do Machado metro station, it is possible to get off in front of the train station.
Bus departing from Plaça XV: Routes 422, 498,180 south direction, it is also possible to get off in front of the Judas Tadeu church, and walk to the boarding station.
Bus departing from Ipanema: Routes 569, 584, and 583 (the latter also applies to those located in Copacabana).
Starting from the Novo Rio rodoviaria: It is necessary to take 2 buses, after taking the route 126 and get off at the Fluminense club, you must go back to Laranjeiras street and take lines 422, 498, 497, 180, 584 or 583.
Authorized Van
They are official vans of the Tijuca National Park that take visitors directly to the top of Corcovado Hill. It has two different boarding points: Largo do Machado metro station and Plaza de Lido, departures are every 15 minutes at any of the points

How to get:
Plaza de Lido (copacababa post 2):
Located in the avenue of our lady of copacabana (between the streets Ronald de Carvalho and Belford Roxo), being the nearest subway station Cardeal Arcoverde. Bus routes 161, 432, 536 and 538 also pass through there.
Largo do Machado (Metro Square):
Boarding in front of the church of Largo do Machado, and it is possible to get off at the Largo do machado metro station, or through routes 583, 584 and 570 (for those coming from the south) and routes 422, 498 and 497 (for those who come from the center).
Paineiras Corcovado
The transport of visitors with departure at the Paineiras station is also done with authorized vans, the biggest difference with other transports is that it is located exactly where the transit to the Christ begins (from there only authorized vehicles circulate).

The Paineiras boarding station is located next to the old hotel Paineiras, on the highway or Paineiras road (known as “Estrada do Corcovado), where you can only arrive by car or taxi.

Another way to get to the Christ is by taking a tour with travel agencies. Many times, in a tour it is possible to know several tourist points, generally the points of embarkation and disembarkation are more flexible.
