Rio de Janeiro is not a city known for its gastronomy, however it has options of good restaurants!

Let’s organize restaurants based on the average amount spent per person (based on our on-site experience) and talk a little about each one, starting with the cheapest, which are usually the restaurants that ask us the most.

THE LOWER PRICE RESTAURANTS! (R $ 15 TO 25 PER PERSON)

Combined at Brasa – Restaurant a Kilo

For us at S2 Rio this is the best cost x benefit of Copacabana, with the value of R $ 39.90 Kg of food (with grilled meat, our famous barbecue).
When we eat there, we usually pay about $ 20, eating an amount we consider reasonable.

Typically

Dishes well served, and the food is good. It is located next to the street, which is not the best environment. However, it has a good price.

Apettito Pizza and Grill

In this category is the best option, with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. It is not usually a very crowded place and has a good price.

The food quality is better than Apettito’s, but the price is higher. Has more than one of them in Copacabana.

Arataca Restaurant

Specializing in Northern Brazilian food, I point out Tambaqui, which is a freshwater fish (the best fish in my opinion)
